Quarterly Highlights
- Silkair's new B737MAX commenced services to Darwin, becoming the first airline to serve Australia with the new Boeing variant. Silkair flight frequency for this quarter is up 26% on last year.
- NEW: JTB Travel announces Japan charter in August; Tokyo to Darwin, and later announced Alice Springs charter series (more news next quarter)
- NEW: Virgin Australia (VA) adds Brisbane – Alice Spring twice weekly services to VA’s network from 19 June. Compared to last year, VA will add 57% more seat capacity into the market in July 2018.
