Darwin City Airport Shuttle Service | New operator appointed for sought-after contract

For born-and-bred local David Morton, an opportunity to take on the shuttle bus service delivering passengers to and from Darwin Airport, was one too good to refuse.

"We’re really looking forward to our new appointment with Darwin International Airport and to collaborating with the NT tourism industry", said the owner.

Darwin City Airport Shuttle Service will begin services from July 1st offering a transport solution for inbound and outbound passengers. Darwin Airport Ground Transport Manager Vicki O’Reilly says this change will have minimal impact on the current service.

"Through appointing an interim contract to Metro Mini Bus Service, we have been able to meet the needs of most passengers. Metro will operate until June 30th with Darwin City Airport Shuttle Service kicking off July 1st – so interruptions to this service will be minimal. We’re also developing a smoother system for online booking so watch this space", O’Reilly said.
